At the up-coming BIG&BIH show in October this year, an array of handicrafts from the country’s most famous wood-carving village from the northern province of Chiang Mai will be brought to you in Trade Mart Baan Tawai Pavilion.
The pavilion, occupying a total of 126sq.m.of the exhibiting area, is set up to reproduce the atmosphere of the original village of ‘Baan Tawai’ in Chiang Mai, while a vast variety of handicrafts such as wood carving, antique wood, silverware, lacquer ware, hand-woven textile, basketry and earthenware from 14 producers and exporters from the North to be on show.
Also, an information counter for all about Baan Tawai will be set up at the pavilion.
